FREE SUNDAY CAR PARKING IN RUN UP TO CHRISTMAS

 

South Lakeland District Council (SLDC) is offering free car parking on its pay and display car parks and the Westmorland Shopping Centre Car Park on Sundays in December in the run up to Christmas.

 

The free Sunday parking offer will apply on the following dates:

 

Sunday, 3 December 2017

 

Sunday, 10 December 2017

 

Sunday, 17 December 2017

 

Sunday, 24 December 2017 

 

 

The offer applies to all pay and display car parks and the Westmorland Shopping Centre Car Park operated by SLDC in the district, with the specific exceptionsof Sedbergh Parish Council’s Joss Lane and Loftus Hill pay and display car parks, the Brewery Arts Centre and Kendal College pay and display car parks in Kendal and Miller Bridge car park at Ambleside.

 

No contract permit-holder only car parks are included in the offer.

“There is so much to celebrate in our town and village centres and there are some wonderful, diverse and unique shops to explore. Hopefully this initiative will encourage more people to shop local this Christmas.’’
